Many
people around the world suffer from anaemia, and although it isn’t
considered a fatal disease, it can cause other health problems if not
treated. This disease, characterized by a decrease in the number of red
blood cells and haemoglobin in the blood, results in oxygen failing to
reach the cells and vital organs since the red blood cells don’t
effectively perform their function, which is to "drive" oxygen to all
parts of the body. As a result, chronic fatigue, weakness, difficulty in
breathing, and other phenomena that interfere with normal life are
created.
